RECRUITMENT

Formal Fall Recruitment is governed by the Panhellenic Council and is a process that takes place over a few days before the start of the semester. Each potential new member (PNM), will have the opportunity to meet each sorority to learn more about their philanthropy, sisterhood, and what they have to offer.

Dear PNM,

Reese here! I am absolutely thrilled that you chose to spend your next 4 years in my favorite little town in East Texas! Your college experience is just waiting for memories to be made, and by choosing to join a sorority, you are opening the door to make so many more. The women you will meet during recruitment and especially in our Chi Omega home, will inspire you and encourage you to grow into the best version of yourself!

I hope you read this feeling eager and excited to start your new journey. I can confidently tell you that when you say yes to Chi Omega, you are saying yes to unconditional love, lifelong sisters, and your forever home!

We cannot wait to meet you!

Until then XOXO,

Reese Holmgreen

WE WANT TO GET TO KNOW YOU!

RIF INFO

Submitting a RIF is an excellent way to introduce yourself to our chapter and allow us to get to know you better before recruitment begins.

What is a RIF?

A RIF is simply a recommendation letter written by a Chi Omega alumna! It is not mandatory to have a recommendation, but it is a great opportunity for us to help us learn more about you. Don't worry if you aren't able to get one, a RIF or a recommendation does not affect your recruitment process or our consideration of you in any way!

How do I find an Alumna to write a recommendation?

Search for your local Panhellenic organization online! On their website they will have a section for recruitment and/or recommendation letters. They will typically ask for the same information you provided when you signed up for SFA recruitment or a resume. Once you submit that information, an alumna that will provide that information on your behalf!

How do I, or an alumna I know, directly submit a recommendation?

Email them to rifchiomegaez@gmail.com

Remember, recommendations are not mandatory and they do not affect your recruitment process or our consideration of you in any way if you are unable to get one!

We hope this helps, we are so excited to learn more about you!
